With the project Hostel Situla- Museum as a living space we entered the invitation to tender of the Financial Mechanism EGP and Norwegian Financial Mechanism in September 2005. Our goal was to revive Novo mesto and its centre by attracting new visitors and events into its centre and at the same time promote its unique and rich archaeological findings (especially those on Kapiteljska njiva, dating from the early Iron Age (8th to 4th century BC). We wish for every guest or visitor of Hostel Situla to become a part of that time through the ambience and offer of our hostel.
